I have been cutting hair for over 20 years, dating from the middle school days of cutting mine and my friends’ hair in my basement to being a licensed barber for 10 years. After opening my own barbershop in 2019, I made it my goal to make it a place where everybody feels safe and welcome. I am proud of the JP Barbershop community that has grown throughout the years. You all have voted us one of “Pittsburgh’s Best” for the last three years! The children in our community are very important to me so I am always looking for ways to give back, especially with our annual holiday toy drive. When I’m not cutting hair, I like to do all things sports, fish, and spend time with my family.

  I started cutting my son’s hair when he was little. It was fun and a time for us to bond and hang out. When my other boys came along it was the same deal. In 2019 after 10 years in sales, it was time for a change. I enjoyed cutting my kids hair and thought maybe I could make a career out of it. I went to barber school in 2020. I have been cutting since and enjoy the barbershop atmosphere. My family has been a part of the Chartiers Valley area for years. I am happy to be here at JP’s and serve the community.

 With a year of experience behind the chair dealing with all textures of hair, I strive to provide the best experience to anybody who sits in my chair, building positive and lasting relationships for years to come.
